Due to continued business success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our growing HR department at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea.

You will be responsible for the sourcing, interviewing and onboarding of top talent that not only fits with, but will grow with Gateway’s proud values and culture. The successful applicant must have a proven track record of talent acquisition, doing so efficiently while practising diverse and inclusive hiring methods.

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Recruitment strategies
  • Working with our Marketing Department to design job adverts and market our vacancies effectively
  • Sourcing and screening candidates
  • Conducting interviews
  • Managing the recruitment process with various stakeholders
  • Identifying and partnering with external providers as required
  • Achieving and exceeding hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring
  • Completing DBS checks
  • Attending recruitment events

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment
  • Expertise in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, and developing a strong talent pipeline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders
  • The ability to multi-task effectively
  • Knowledge in the use of job boards
  • Staying abreast of the current job market, providing information on pay and benefits ensuring we are competitive
  • Full UK driving license
