We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lending Manager to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the lending portfolio, driving growth, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lending Management: Oversee the end-to-end auto finance lending process, including credit assessment, loan approval, and disbursement.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to determine the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, brokers, and other key partners to drive business growth.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of loan officers and support staff to achieve performance targets and professional growth.
* Customer Service: Ensure an exceptional customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on auto finance products.
* Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on loan performance, market trends, and business development activities for senior management.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the finance industry, with a proven track record in lending management.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
* Skills:
* Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in financial software and loan management systems.
* In-depth knowledge of UK auto finance regulations and compliance requirements.
* Attributes:
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Proactive and results-driven mindset.
