Funds Transfer Pricing Analyst

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role, working hybrid at the EAB office in Mayfair
Job Purpose:
- To ensure the fund transfer pricing policy is executed appropriately
- To ensure that inter business unit funding deals are accurately recorded by Treasury
- To ensure Net Interest Margins are accurately reported
Principle Accountabilities and Duties:
- Liaise closely with Operations and Treasury teams to ensure that data points are accurately captured for funding deals
- Regularly monitor all inter business unit and inter entity funding deals to ensure they are accurately recorded as per FTP policy e.g. tenor, rate, amount, currency, book codes; etc are accurate.
- Carry out currency wise analysis of funding deals to ensure they match with external counter party deals.
- Carry out monthly business unit, currency and product wise margin analysis and ensure any discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and monthly / quarterly rolling forecasts for business wise revenues.
- Regularly update department SOP’s
- Ensure that FTP policy is updated on annual basis and suggest appropriate updates, where ever required.
Risk & Regulatory Duties
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable internal requirements including the Bank’s FTP policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk.
- Accurately execute all controls within own area to minimise risk of policy, procedure, and/or other breaches.
- Identify new risks/control gaps within own area and escalate accordingly to your Line Manager and/or Head of Department.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role gained in Banking and Financial Services
- Extensive knowledge and implementation experience of fund transfer pricing methodology in the banking sector
- Knowledge of Matched Maturity fund transfer pricing and how it works
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
