WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED CATALOGUE MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP US MANAGE AND ORGANISE OUR GROWING COLLECTION OF MUSIC.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a Catalogue Manager who will play an active part in taking Cutting Edge Group and White Stork Music to the next level and contributing to the overall success of the company as we scale. We need someone to oversee the daily operations of our music catalogue, keep everything in order, refresh our monthly playlists and coordinate the delivery of tracks.
We’re looking for someone to get to know our current roster, be proactive with entering metadata, someone who enjoys refreshing our featured tracks and playlists when new tracks come through. We’re looking for somebody who loves music and is a good communicator. If you’re also organised, meticulous and super proactive - we’d love to hear from you
Responsibilities will include:
Manage and maintain the digital catalogues, ensuring all music metadata is accurate and consistently updated.nAssist in the acquisition and cataloguing of new music assets. Organise incoming composer track deliveries, update shared spreadsheets and verifying accuracy. Add metadata and make these tracks available in our relevant Disco libraries.nRequest album cover artwork, and assist with album, playlists and track titles.nWork closely with the legal & registrations team to ensure all music tracks are properly registered and licensed.nOrganise and conduct regular audits of the music catalogue to ensure compliance with internal standards.nRespond to internal and external inquiries regarding the music catalogue.nShowcase and regularly update featured tracks and albums in Disco, ensuring the selection remains fresh and reflective of the latest additions to our catalogue.nCreate and maintain seasonal and timely playlists, adding new tracks as they come through to keep them updated and easily discoverable.nDeliver new tracks to Soundmouse, QWire, and BMAT (and additional platforms as required) on a timely basis, working alongside our US-based Catalog Manager.nDouble-check clearance and assist the team with cue sheet requests from clients, assuring accurate metadata for reporting.nMonitor and maintain all track spreadsheets to ensure no details are missed and processes run smoothly, evolving them as we scale.nConduct music research as required, creating playlists tailored to clients’ briefs.
The ideal candidate will have:nA passion for music and a broad knowledge of different genres.nStrong organisational skills.nExcellent attention to detail.nAn understanding of music licensing and rights management.nPrior experience in this role, or a similar music-related role is desirable.nAn understanding of the importance of metadata and accurate reporting.nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.nAbility to work independently and prioritise tasks is essential.nBe a team player; going above and beyond when the team needs extra support.nIn depth knowledge of Disco a plus
