Overview
A position has opened for a CNC Programmer/Setter to join our production team in Margate, Kent
* Implement tool set ups and validate CNC process via to handover to operators.
* Identify suitable tooling and fixturing ensuring documentation is maintained.
* Validate and edit CNC programmes via interpretation of engineering drawings.
* Measure and validate components through use of first principle measuring equipment.
* Deliver training on tool setting and CNC operation to production workforce.
* Identify potential non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
* Assist in fault finding through communication with supporting departments.
Key skills
* Working experience in the manufacturing industry with a bias towards machining operations
* Proven experience in CNC Turning and Milling operations.
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience: Preferably 5+ years in an Engineering/manufacturing environment.
