Role Description

This is an internship role for a Hardware Engineering Intern. As an intern, you will be involved in design and experimental validation of various heat transfer strategies for our solid-state technology. It would involve understanding various approaches available currently and optimum design strategies for increasing performance efficiency. In this role, you will work in various workshop settings while also performing data analysis and 3D modelling of relevant ideas. As an emerging technology, it is an exciting space to work both hands-on and acquire a research intensive experience where your inputs will go into real-time implementation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and implementation of heat transfer and storage prototypes.nWork with leading industry experts. Collaborate with our engineering team to test and evaluate different strategies.nParticipate in experimental setup, data collection, and analysis.nWork on hardware development and quick prototyping.nSupport troubleshooting efforts related to current running systems.nDocument project progress, results, and findings.

RequirementsnCurrently enrolled in a Master's or higher program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.n1-2 years of industry work experiencenBasic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and design for manufacturing.nProficiency in fabrication workshop skills is preferred not necessary.nExperience with 3D modelling software such as solidworks and fusion 360.nStrong research analytical skills - developing new concepts and approaches to problem solvingnExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.nAttention to detail and data analysis.
