We are seeking Engineering Managers who have experience building great products and applications at scale, using the right technologies while focusing on delivering value for our users. We are looking for someone with at least a few years of experience developing software engineers and who knows how to grow them and make teams successful.

Trustpilot's API Platform Team will play a crucial role in enabling our customers, partners and internal teams to unlock the value of our APIs and drive new revenue streams. The roadmap includes monetising & sharing our datasets and enabling syndication of reviews. Trustpilot API's are used in several different ways:

  • By customers - for example to display Trustpilot Widgets on their website and extract data for analysis in-house
  • By Integrations with other SaaS tools (such as Shopify) - some built internally and others by external partners

At Trustpilot, we work as a team and deliver as a team. The environment that we cultivate includes working with great people who aid each other at every step, while at the same time encouraging you to bring your A-game every day. Everyone’s opinion matters and you can help come up with the next big idea that will bring Trustpilot forward. Join our team and shape the way we work. Are you up for the challenge?

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the delivery of major initiatives and balance delivery with sustainable engineering practices

  • Ensure teams have the appropriately high technical competence and aim for quality
  • Develop and support a great team of skilled and motivated engineers, setting clear expectations via constant feedback and 1:1s practices
  • Collaborate with the engineering leadership to engage, develop and retain talent
  • Set up team members for success by creating growth opportunities, and addressing gaps in skills by mentoring and professional development coaching
  • Build a positive and high-performing work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust

Who you are:

  • Several years of Engineering Management experience on top of a solid technical background
  • Experience with cloud services, such as AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Strong API knowledge & experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Experience with high volume, scalable systems
