Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff in delivering high-quality education. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing classroom environment, assist with lesson planning, and provide personalized support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
Support individual students and small groups with their learning and development.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school outings.
Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and photocopying.Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
