AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd is an award-winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industries. We pride ourselves on the quality and accuracy of the calculations that we undertake.
This role will focus on overheating assessments in accordance with the Part O regulations. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of precision and organisational skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Producing Overheating TM52 and TM59 assessments, Part O assessmentsnActive engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the developmentnDelivery of high-quality overheating and thermal comfort analysis using IESnThermal Modelling using IES softwarenBeing involved in Energy Assessments and modelling improvementsnConsult on building design to comply with Part LnEnergy and Sustainability statements for planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Be computer literate and have a good level of general education, particularly in Maths, Science and EnglishnBe competent in the use of IES for overheating analysis including TM59 and TM52nBe able to self-manage a busy and time-critical schedule of worknHave excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to maintain a positive professional attitude when under pressurenBe a team player and maintain good humour in times of stressnBe self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
