Job Description

Bluseal are an insulated and industrial door company based in Worcester.

We are looking to expand our very busy Contracts department to meet with current construction industry demands. We are keen to seek out a Contracts Manager with a positive approach and excellent customer service skills to be part of our team and look after our current door installation projects and key accounts throughout the UK.

Job Duties:

  • To look after multiple door installation projects from contract award to completion including the ordering of materials, labour planning, job costing, budget management, invoicing/application for payment, and so on.
  • To oversee insulated and industrial door projects for our regular customers on nationwide sites across the UK and occasionally in Ireland.
  • To oversee steel hinged door projects for our increasing construction company customer base across the UK.
  • To provide monthly updates to Senior Management on the progress of each project including the financial status.
  • To provide accurate quotations for any additional works/extras that the customer requires.
  • Maintain a positive approach at all times.
  • Communicate the progression of the project with the customer throughout the process.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that they understand our requirements and that delivery deadlines are adhered to.
  • Balance multiple contracts at once, ensuring each reaches the client's completion date on time and within budget.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Regular site attendance/meetings to discuss programme and ensure the site is ready for the door installation to begin.
  • Ensure all paperwork is complete and up-to-date on our computer system and in the physical job file.
  • Manage your time efficiently between the various sites and our Worcester based office.

Key Skills:

  • Good customer relations with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Willing to listen and learn from our experienced Contracts team.
  • We are looking for talented and driven individuals with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively, in what is an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Have a good level of IT experience – Particularly with Microsoft Office. Training will be provided for our in-house Document Management System.
  • A positive approach to problem solving & working within a team.

Benefits

  • Job Type: Full-time - Permanent
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm but flexible to suit the requirements of the job and nationwide travel.

  • Worcester WR3 8SG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Contract Management: 2 years (preferred)
  • Knowledge of industrial/hinged doors (preferred but not essential)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS Card (preferred)
