About Us:
We are a leading roofing company specialising in flat roofing solutions. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services, we are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Rainham. About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor with expertise in flat roofing, you will manage all commercial aspects of our roofing projects. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
* Manage the financial performance of projects from inception to completion.
* Conduct site visits to assess progress and manage valuations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective cost management.
* Prepare and present reports on project financials.
* Negotiate contracts and sub-contracts.
* Manage and resolve any disputes related to project costs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the flat roofing sector.
* Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficient in the use of industry-specific software and Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in Quantity Surveyor or a related field.
* Professional membership of RICS or equivalent (desirable).
