We are currently working with a rapidly growing, leading Lloyd’s syndicate to recruit a .Net Developer. The successful candidate be asked to design, maintain and develop software solutions using C# and .Net technologies, and take an active role in solutions architecture and participate in all project stages.

Key Responsibilities;

Web front end development.nCreate software, test plans and operational documentation from specifications.nIntegrate software products – get incompatible platforms to work together and, if needed, create code/services to link them.nMaintain existing systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.nCollect and document user requirements to create new project specifications, user stories and estimates.nWrite test driven code.nKeep abreast of new innovations with an eye for possible touch points.nConsult with colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems.nContinually update your technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and / or external courses, reading manuals, and keeping abreast of local insurance and wider market initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have;

Experience with developing software using VS Code or equivalent.nExposure to C# (essential)nWorked for an insurance company (beneficial)nFamiliarity with the SQL Server & some scripting languages.
