You will be working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer or be a Senior who is ready to take the step up to a Principal role. The business are Sustainability conscious not just within the designs that they are putting together as Building Services Consultants but also raising the profile of the problem by producing podcasts and other outreach work too.
You will be working on projects nationwide from their offices in Stockport for both blue chip organisations, public sector frameworks and other clients, contractors, and architects. You will be given a wide variety of projects to work on to allow you some diversity in your work and that is not just in the Healthcare sector as they do operate in other areas too.
You will be fully supported with any Chartership applications if you want to pursue it as well as other accreditations including CIBSE or IMECHE.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare) who has a track record of working in the Building Services sector for other consultants or contractors. As an engineer, you will be expected to have experience of working collaboratively on projects, perhaps having led some small works and have aspirations of leading teams and/or leading projects. You will be client focussed, able to project plan and resource manage, and have aspirations beyond your starting position. Experience of Hevacomp, IES, AutoCAD or Revit would be an advantage however if you have done calculations long hand or using excel that too would be beneficial. Chartership is preferred but not essential.
