This long-term freelance role promises flexibility in location as there will be the expectation to work partly from site and the office and potentially from home, catering to professionals seeking to apply their skills across various upcoming schemes.
Your proven track record in independently managing this crucial component will be pivotal to the success of each project. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of NEC and JCT contracts, as you will be the driving force behind the commercial management of the entire program. From astute subcontractor negotiations to the meticulous preparation of final accounts, your role is integral to the financial and contractual health of the projects.
To excel in this position, candidates must possess:
- A robust background in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on drylining.
- Demonstrable experience in managing various packages autonomously.
- Proficiency in NEC and JCT contracts, with the ability to navigate and administer them effectively.
- Adeptness in commercial management, including subcontractor negotiations, cost control, and final account preparation.
- Strong communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
