We’re seeking a pioneering Founding Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Seed stage startup. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technical foundations of our company. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full-stack solutions that propel our business forward. Collaborating closely with the co-founders and senior leadership, you will define the technological direction and create scalable, high-performance products. You will also play a key role in cultivating an engineering culture rooted in our core values.


Curvo is redefining how sales teams win deals with real-time, in-call coaching . Our platform analyses live sales conversations to provide actionable guidance during meetings, helping reps navigate tough questions, uncover critical information, and keep deals on track. By combining cutting-edge AI with proven sales frameworks, Curvo transforms how sales reps interact with buyers, ensuring every call is strategic and impactful.


Responsibilities


  • Architect and build scalable full-stack applications from scratch.
  • Collaborate closely with the founding team to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain code across the stack, including frontend interfaces and backend services.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Lead code reviews and drive best practices across the engineering team.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help cultivate a thriving engineering culture aligned with our Core Engineering Values:

  • Pragmatic Engineering. Make thoughtful trade-offs and write simple, maintainable code.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proven experience as a lead or founding engineer in a startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Prior experience in GenAI and LLM-based application development using frameworks like LangChain is a big plus.


Skills

  • Frontend Technologies: JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML/CSS
  • Backend Technologies: Node.js, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases (MariaDB preferred)
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD pipelines
  • Version Control: Git
  • Additional Tools & Frameworks: Python (good to have), Temporal (great to have)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Exceptional prioritisation skills

We're a small but mighty team with 4 engineers currently and looking to expand.

At Curvo, he is defining the future of sales to increase rep efficacy and drive the global economy.


Anuj Bhargava - Co-founder & CPO. Anuj with extensive leadership in product and design from five global unicorns, now pioneers AI Automation. Former COO of a B2C unicorn, he led monumental expansion, secured $1B funding. Co-founded B2B SaaS startup acquired by Walmart-Flipkart. At Curvo, he bridges humans and AI, fostering productivity and fulfillment.
