My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join a friendly and supportive team in Central London.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering have experience spanning flood risk, flood alleviation and drainage design, ideally using microdrainage or causeway flow.
It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing hydraulic modelling.
This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in London. You will be required in the office three days a week to check and complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Water Quality, Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
You will be expected to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.
-Water Quality Assessments.
-Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.
-Hydrological Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.
-Drainage Strategies.
-Drainage Design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.
-Hydraulic Modelling (training provided).
