Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Teacher of English position in Redbridge with the successful applicant to join a supportive and successful school in September 2024. The School are returning to the academic year following an exceptional set of results at GCSE Level, and are enthusiastic to build on this in the coming months. This September, their English department are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of English to join their department for the rest of the school year. The department are well resourced, and place emphasis on students learning through multi forms of text which has had a positive impact on engagement and attainment within the subject.

Ofsted Rated 'Good' - praised for Exceptional Teaching within the English department, as well as teachers having an empathetic and understanding approach to students learning.
School based in North Redbridge
Located close to a central line station, the school is accessible for applicants from Outer and Inner London.
Student Capacity is 1,300

Teaching classes between Key Stages 3,4 and 5 English.
Teaching both English Literature to Key Stage 4 and English Language to Key stage 5.
Joining a successful and supportive English department, with a welcoming and experienced Head of Department.
Pay is in line with Outer London Teacher's Pay Scale* updated Sept 2023
Working hours: 8.30-4pm
Full-Time, 5 days per week
