About JeenJee is a leading independent multi-discipline engineering and training consultancy operating in the global oil, gas and renewable energy sectors. Our comprehensive suite of services spans the entire life cycle of assets from initial studies, FEED, and detailed design through to decommissioning, alongside operations support, integrity management, life extension and decarbonisation strategies. In the renewables sector, we have expertise in subsea infrastructure, providing design, integrity management, and monitoring services.
The RolenWe are currently looking for Senior and Lead Engineers to be based in either our Tonbridge or Aberdeen office. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years experience in a field relating to pipeline engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical WorknDemonstrate at least one technical skill, for example: pigging, pipeline, structures, flow assurance, etc.nDevelop pipeline integrity management policies, strategies and plansnPerform pipeline fitness for service assessments, risk assessments and lifetime extension assessmentsnAct as consultant at client’s offices (where required)nPrepare and check engineering calculations, particularly using Excel and MathcadnCheck and authorise FE analyses (typically Abaqus CAE and coded input decks)nWrite professional and concise reports, specifications, and proceduresnPrepare and give presentations to clients on work donenWork within QMS, suggesting improvements, participate in quality auditsnWrite and update Jee’s technical courses (PowerPoint)
Supervision and LeadershipnLead multi-disciplinary project teamnLine management and IMechE mentoringnInstruct, supervise and feedback to junior engineer
Sales and Account ManagementnWrite proposals in conjunction with sales and leadership team, and head of service linenAct as client technical contact/representative for key clientsnCross-sell Jee services and be a Jee champion inside and outside of the office
Project ManagementnPlanning and costs schedules, project controlsnReview client contracts and support negotiations with clientnSelect subcontractors and monitor progress for on-time deliverynIntegrate work/product from subcontractor into Jee deliverynReporting and progress assessment
Candidate ProfilenMaster’s degree in relevant engineering or science discipline (desirable)nFundamental understanding of pipelines and associated codes and standardsnProven experience in one or more pipeline disciplines, including integrity management, pigging and in-line inspection, design, lifetime extension, decommissioning and energy transitionnProven client relationship skills within an engineering project-based environmentnStrong analytical and organisational skillsnAbility to prioritise workload and communicate to stakeholdersnExcellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and WordnExcellent report writingnExcellent attention to detail and high standardsnAbility to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levelsnAbility to work under pressurenFlexible and adaptablenChartered engineer status (desirable)
