I am excited to inform you about a new role I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Trainer on behalf of a growing OFSTED rated “good” training provider. The not-for-profit independent training provider based North Yorkshire has been around for 36 years and delivers apprenticeships in leadership and engineering, bespoke NVQ provision, and online CPD training to employers across the region.

The Trainer is an operational role who which plans, teaches, and assesses learning. Alongside this is supports curriculum development and undertake relevant quality assurance activities.

As the Electrical Trainer you will be responsible for:

Effectively teach, plan, deliver, assess learners on Level 3 electrical courses and track learner progress within a scheduled timetable of contact hoursnConduct interviews, provide initial assessments and guidance, and monitor, evaluate, and assess individual learner progress and achievements, including internal quality assurance.nDevelop and lead courses, provide schemes of work, lesson plans, and additional learning support, and contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources.nParticipate in quality initiatives, staff development opportunities, and non-teaching tasks such as attending company events and invigilating exams.

To be successful in the role you will:

Previous industry experience as an electrician – electronics/wiringnHolds a level 3 electrical related qualificationnClean driving license and own vehicle
