Event logistics manager

Job Title: Events Logistics ManagerLocation: Amsterdam, NetherlandsSalary: €3,700 gross per monthWe are seeking a hands-on event Logistics Manager to lead the operations in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This role is responsible for the seamless functioning of logistics, warehouse management, health & safety (HSE), and procurement. You will oversee weekly events with high logistical demands, ensuring each event runs smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:* Act as a hands-on leader within the logistics team, taking charge and guiding team members in a collaborative and supportive manner.* Oversee and coordinate all venue logistics, ensuring timely deliveries, set-ups, and tear-downs for weekly events.* Manage inventory, storage, and ordering processes, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, handling, and safety.* Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal purchasing practices to support event needs.* Promote and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with HSE standards within the warehouse and logistics operations.* Analyze data to monitor performance, budget expenses, and improve processes, demonstrating strong numerical and analytical skills.* Provide on-the-ground support and problem-solving during events to maintain operational continuity.Requirements:* Proven experience in procurement, warehouse operations, and HSE within a demanding logistics environment, preferably within the events industry* Strong leadership qualities, capable of managing teams and taking accountability for logistics outcomes* Hands-on approach with the ability to work alongside team members and lead by example* High proficiency with logistics management software and data analysis tools* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and numerical skills* Ability to thrive in a high-demand environment with a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive mindsetJob Title: Events Logistics ManagerLocation: Amsterdam, NetherlandsSalary: €3,700 gross per month Job Tenure: Permanent
