That's why we are looking for a talented and engaging Learning & Development Lead to join our team. In this role , the Learning & Development Lead will work with Head of L&D in integrating our L&D Strategy into various departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, H&S, IT, and Commercial Functions within our Red Meats and Foods Division.

Role Overview:

As the Learning & Development Lead, you will be responsible for working with our Head of L&D to deliver and embed effective learning programs that align with our business objectives and support the development of our employees.

You will work closely with the senior management team to identify training needs, develop training strategies, and deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences. This is a dynamic role that offers an opportunity to make a real difference in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce.

What the role will look like:

  • Facilitate engaging internal workshops that empower our people managers to enhance their skills and effectively implement their newfound knowledge within their teams.
  • Guide and mentor managers in providing valuable feedback that motivates and drives performance.
  • Champion and lead our initiatives to optimize the performance of our talented workforce and ultimately, our business.
  • Play a pivotal role in implementing and integrating the Insights Model into our everyday operations
  • Drive the development and successful implementation of talent management initiatives, including but not limited to, succession planning
  • Review and develop competency frameworks across various stakeholder groups to nurture a dynamic workforce
  • Play a vital role in crafting and executing an inclusive strategy, enabling us to attract and retain top-tier talent in our organization
  • Drive and inspire internal transformation, bringing about positive changes through learning and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to evaluate skill gaps and devise strategies to bridge these gaps, ensuring that we are well-prepared for success.
  • Promote the growth and development of our talented individuals through diverse and innovative approaches.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Commercial HR Partners in integrating Learning and Development (L&D) programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Early Careers Lead to establish and implement internal career pathways across group and commercial functions.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team Manager (Operations) to streamline L&D initiatives across all Operations & Commercial & HO stakeholder sets

What can you bring to the role:

  • Must have a strong background in Learning and Development, particularly within the Food or FMCG industry
  • Proven expertise in creating internal frameworks and interventions to support behavioral development
  • Demonstrated ability to build and enhance internal dashboards using Excel or a similar platform
  • Track record of successfully developing and delivering learning programs
  • Experience working with Hybrid teams and delivery
  • Accreditation in Insights methodology is advantageous

**As a business operating across the UK & Ireland, this role will support teams spread across both of these geographies so regular travel will be a requirement.**
