Hampshire, United Kingdom Engenda Group Full time

Are you a Construction Manager looking for a new challenge?

Looking a long-term contract (outside of IR35) to get stuck into over the next 18 months?

Engenda Group are looking for a Construction Manager to join the team for a project in Hampshire

Starting in June on an 18 month contract, you'll be overseeing the construction of a gas infrastructure project, representing Engenda at all times throughout the project life cycle, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.

You'll be:

  • Reviewing progress, identifying problems and helping the team work towards a solution
  • Organising resources to ensure efficient use of labour, materials and time
  • Continuing to drive and promote Engenda's exemplary on site health and safety records
  • Liaising with stakeholders including plant owner, Engenda teams and sub contractors
  • Setting priorities and defining objectives to ensure the job is delivered to company, international and site quality standards

The first 6 months of the project is mainly civil work, followed by 12 months of strip outs and replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment.

You must have previous experience in a similar role within the gas network sector, experience and knowledge of infrastructure projects, and experience with interfacing client, design and construction teams. A SHEA gas certification is also an advantage, but not essential.
