Groundworker Supervisor

Our client is a small family run business who are making a massive investment in their business to grow their team. They are specialists in civil engineering and groundworks. They have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and their work covers West Sussex, Surrey, South London and Hampshire. They provide their services to home owners, developers, building contractors and engineers within both the domestic and commercial market.
They are looking for a SSSTS or SMSTS groundworker supervisor with proven experience in;
Leading a team or gang of groundworkers
Have a good understanding of health and safety
Site management experience of equipment and materials and day to day running
Ensuring all work is delivered on time and to budget
Types of work includes;
Foundations
Basement Construction
Formwork
Retaining Walls
Underpinning
Sea Wall and Coastal Defences
Piling
Gabion Construction
Drainage
Reinforced Concrete and slabs
And other associated works such as cleaning and preparing construction sites by removing debris and hazards
Experience/Qualifications
Must have full driving license and own transport
Own PPE – Hard hat, steel toe cap boots, hi-viz and gloves
Plant Tickets (CPCS and Dumper Tickets)
Hold a SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
Minimum of 5 year’s experience within groundworks and supervising
