Insight Global is looking for Mobile Quality Engineers to join a large financial institution for a 12 month ongoing contract located in Burgess Hill and London.

The successful candidates will be working on a large-scale, net-new mobile application development being rolled out in the organisation for iOS and Android. The chosen candidates will be involved in being hands on with the automated testing portion of the project for iOS, Android and MSL (Mobile service layer).

Previous experience in executing functional and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness and reliability of functionality of these apps is necessary as it will be a part of the day to day of this role. Additionally, the role will also include collaborating with the product, design and development teams to understand product requirements for the creation of comprehensive test plans and cases. As such, strong written and verbal communication is imperative for the success of this role.


Must haves:

  • Hands on mobile test automation experience working with iOS, Android and MSL
  • Experience working with mobile application automation tools
  • Strong hands on API Testing experience
  • Experience with XCUITest framework and Espresso for mobile testing
  • Possesses deep knowledge on Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End to End, Compatibility, GUI, Web Services and Accessibility testing
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy and Sentry
  • Previous experience collaborating with product, design, and development stakeholders
  • Experience working within an Agile, enterprise environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related engineering fields
