Starting immediately, a primary school in North Wakefield is seeking to recruit an experienced Pastoral Mentor to deliver 1:1 and small group interventions across all KS1 and KS2 classes.
Duties of the role:
* Working across various classes within the school
* Providing learners with engagement strategies
* Enable learners to overcome barriers within their educational journey
* De-escalating challenging behaviour
* Being on call for behavioural disruption
* 1:1 and group work
* Planning activities
What you will need:
*
A range of behaviour management techniques
*
To have worked with learners with a range of needs
*
The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
*
Experience working within a primary school and/or working with young people
