Your new role
Your new permanent job working as a Technician will enable you to service client and underwriter accounts in line with the company procedure. Duties will include processing premium accounting bordereaux and entering data onto the company's in-house system and creating policy entries, preparing Premium Endorsements for agreement and closing to Xchanging via Platform, liaising with clients to ensure prompt payment of premiums. Other duties will include conducting payment reconciliations including both premiums and claims, performing analysis and processing of Excel spreadsheets, assisting with some Treaty Processing, helping meet monthly brokerage targets. You will also be required to prepare renewal statistics and Evidences of Cover, drive forward good conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers/policyholders and comply with the PRA and FCA conduct rules.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician handling, preferably Marine and Cargo will contribute to success in securing this role. You must understand Bureau and the risks and processes involved when paying the bureau. You will have a relevant level of experience servicing client and underwriter accounts. You will be technically confident and be able to be a self-starter as this role is a hybrid role.
