Our client based in Elland, Halifax are looking to recruit a MIG&TIG welder on a temporary ongoing basis, there is also a possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. The main purpose of the role will be to weld their products using MIG / TIG method, assisting their team to help maintain a smooth production process.
THE ROLE:
* MIG Welding to a high standard
* TIG Welding experience would be advantageous but not essential
* Production style welding, working in own welding booth
* Producing batch work
* Reporting to weld supervisor.
* Fabricate and weld components as per technical drawings.
* Single and multi runs.
* Fast paced environment.
* Use of hand tools
* Working as part of a team
THE CANDIDATE:
* Must be able to MIG and TIG weld, experience is essential
* Must have good fabrication knowledge
* Be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
* Experience in thin gauge materials(1mm-6mm)
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
* £12.07 per hour
* 7:00 - 17:15 Monday to Thursday, Fridays paid at time and one half
* Free car parking
* Temporary ongoing contract, high chance of contract but not guaranteed
