As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students' learning, helping to regulate their behavior, and creating a safe environment conducive to growth.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.
Excellent communication skills and shared interests such as sports, gaming, music, fitness, the outdoors, horse riding, or sailing.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.Experience, Training and Qualifications:
· Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
· GCSES: English & Maths
· Minimum 1 year working with children
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)
Eligibility:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
