Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Surveyor with strong sales acumen to join a close-knit team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting technical surveys, providing accurate quotes, and driving sales growth. As a pivotal member of a small team, we require someone who is personable, adaptable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical surveys at customer sites to assess project requirements accurately.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive quotes for windows, doors, conservatories, and other products.
Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Utilize CRM software (Business Pilot CRM) and other designated tools to manage customer information and sales pipeline.
Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and technical specifications.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-installation follow-up.
Requirements:
Previous experience in technical surveying and sales within the construction or home improvement industry.
Strong technical knowledge of conservatories, Ultraframe roofs, windows, doors, roller garage doors, and verandas an advantage
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to surveying and quoting.
Familiarity with CRM software (training provided on Business Pilot CRM).
Willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools, including Roofrite and Window Designer.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets.
Available for Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm working hours.
No requirement for evening or weekend work
