Stock Clerk

Driver Hire Edinburgh West are currently recruiting for a Stock Clerk for our client based in the West of Edinburgh.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 6am-3pm.

Start date: TBC.

This is a temp to perm position whereby you will work through Driver Hire for 12 weeks before transferring to our clients' books permanently.

Own transport is essential due to the location of the client.

This role will involve but is not limited to:

Maintaining integrity of stock inventory.

Producing all stock reports in a timely manner.

Accurately count a reconcile stock room report.

Ensure all stock counting processes are adhered to in an accurate and timely manner.

Liaise with warehouse and stock counting windows.

Accurately count and record inventory.

To be successful in this role, we ask that applicants' have (please note this list is desirable and not essential):

Experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.

High level of numeracy.

Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions quickly.

Work effectively within a team environment, must also be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.

Experienced and proficient in excel.

Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment.

Rate of pay (PAYE with holidays accrued):

£12p/h.
