Prospero Teaching is looking for a committed Art teacher to work in a fantastic school in Hereford, starting off with a contract until Christmas but with view of extending for the duration of the school year.Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools; from small village schools to large secondary schools. We are looking for Teachers to cover all classes from Reception through to KS5 and who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.Prospero Teaching work with both newly qualified teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.We are looking for teachers that have a good understanding of SEN/SEND children and using differentiation imperatively throughout lessons to ensure every child gets the best education they can.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation - HerefordPosition - Art TeacherType of work - Cover Teacher for prolonged absenseStart date - ASAPDuration / Likely Duration - Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schoolsEnd date (if applicable) - N/AContract type - TemporaryFull time/part time - Part time and full ime depending on schools needsMinimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £160.55 per dayHours - 8:30 am - 15:30pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson coverEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSQTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalentPrevious experience working in a UK schoolUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
