This is an exciting opportunity for an experience training professional to further develop the training and learning provision across the business. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Training & Development Manager will be responsible for developing and enhancing training programmes, making a demonstrable impact on the delivery of excellent by supporting the development of their staff.
Key responsibilities will include:nEstablish, develop and maintain the learning and development programmes, policies and processes that support the strategic direction and mission of the organisation.nDevelop and ensure delivery of annual training plans and manage resources and budgets to achieve the plansnDevelop and maintain a process for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness and quality of training interventions.nSupport the wider HR Team in the delivery of the strategic HR action plans and the delivery of a customer focussed and efficient HR service
To be successful, applicants will be of graduate calibre and demonstrate extensive experience gained in Training Management. Additional experience of working within a research,scientific or educational environment would be advantageous.nA professional and credible individual you will have the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation, a team player willing to accept responsibility for contributing to the overall success of the HR team and play a significant role in organisation change projects.
This role is available on a full-time basis and will be office based for a minimum of 4 days a week.
