Opportunity for an Electronic Test Technician / Electronic Test Engineer to join a stable, market leading technology manufacturing business. You will use your experience and expertise to ensure all test equipment and processes are fully operational contributing to a zero defect goal.
What you’ll be doing:
* Ensure all production test equipment is debugged and operating correctly
* Provide first line support on all diagnostic and test equipment
* Diagnose and repair of more complex PCBAs to component level
* Load and change test fixtures, hardware and software as required by production schedule and NPIs
* Monitor production quality through test equipment outputs and feedback data
* Devise test strategy and solutions for new product introduction
Experience you will bring to the role:
* Extensive use and configuration of automated production test equipment such as flying probe, bed of nails.
* Extensive manual PCB test, de-bud and repair skills to component level
* Ability to advise and specify test requirements for new product introductions
* Production of test work instructions for operator use
* Relevant electronics qualification
