About The Role
As a RICS qualified Rural Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in developing new & existing projects and providing support services to the relevant clients/customers. The role involves supporting an expanding department in various professional work aspects including estate and property management, diversification and planning, valuations, taxation, succession planning, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage estate and property portfolios.
* Assist in diversification and planning projects.
* Conduct valuations, taxation, and succession planning assessments
* Prepare Farm Business Tenancies, Grazing Licences, and Contract Farming Agreements.
* Advise clients on Agri-environmental Schemes and Grants
* Facilitate land and property sales, as well as acquisitions.
* Handle utility and infrastructure compensation claims
* Provide expertise in renewable energy projects.
* Maintain a commitment to excellent client care.
* Utilise IT systems for efficient case management.
* Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a RICS qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor.
* Ideally a registered Valuer and FAAV, not essential but preferred.
* Commercially minded with a commitment to client care.
* IT literate with web-based case management system experience.
* Strong communication skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle.
Hours Of Work
* 37.5 hours per week.
* Full-Time: Monday - Friday.
* 9am - 5.30pm.
