Key Responsibilities & Duties:nResponsible for maintaining the finance function and overseeing all day-to-day finance operations as delivered by the Finance Team.nProvide strategic financial support to the Finance Director to facilitate wider decision making and business planning as required.nManage the maintenance of the financial accounting system and accounting processes.nOversee preparation and analysis of month end management accounts, completion of monthly executive report packs.nReview the Management Accounts and balance sheets and investigate variances in conjunction with other members of the Senior Management Team.nProviding insightful performance monthly analysis to help the business achieve its commercial objectives.nManage the entire year end process and take overall responsibility for balance sheet and reconciliations.nReview and oversee financial transactions and internal controls, cash flow forecasting and reviewal of finance KPI’snManagement and development of the Finance team
Essential Qualifications & TrainingnEducated to degree level, with an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)nProficient IT skills including Microsoft packagesnEssential experience, knowledge & SkillsnA strong focus and background in financial controls & processes.nAttention to detail, but with the ability to think strategically as needed.nExcellent communication, team building and project management skills.nA proactive and adoptable approach.nAbility to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.nExperience of leading a team.
