If so, we have an exciting opportunity for youOur client, a reputable organisation in Suffolk, is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your expertise and contribute to the smooth operation of various facilities.Responsibilities:Conduct basic plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.Performing simple electrical repairs and troubleshooting, such as changing light bulbs, replacing switches.Carry out basic carpentry work, including repairing furniture, assembling shelves, and fixing doors.Undertake painting tasks, such as preparing surfaces, applying coats of paint, and ensuring a neat and professional finish.Respond swiftly to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including completed tasks, materials used, and any relevant observations.Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Requirements:Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, basic carpentry, and painting.Demonstrated experience in carrying out maintenance tasks in a professional setting.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Excellent time management and organisational abilities.Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Must have a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in place.This is a temporary position, offering 37 hours per week, providing an immediate start for the right candidate.
