Job Purpose: To provide the highest standards of decontamination and restoration to structures, machinery and electronics; working as part of a specialist team
Key Activities & Accountabilities:
• Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered to at all times
• To support the project coordination team in delivering commercial & major loss solutions
• Attend daily toolbox talks to ensure all health and safety concerns are being met, and that the job is progressing as planned.
• Help manage temporary staff, oversee a small team as required and coaching where necessary
• Ensure that personal productivity and effectiveness is at the optimum level
• Ensure van is equipped, clean and serviced according to manufacturer’s guidelines
• Regular reporting back to their line manager
• Meaningful updates to the customer as required
• Simply usage is in accordance with company guideline
• Request equipment and materials in sufficient time to ensure a smooth, seamless delivery of project
• Responsibility for the return of all equipment used on a project (owned and hired)
• Undertake smaller projects with support of line manager.
• Ensure use of correct documents in project file and Simply (Claims Management System) in line with company issued guidance to capture relevant project detail and ensuring correct billing details and purchase orders and mandates are obtained.
• Highlight area for continuous improvement.
• Identify sales opportunities and working in conjunction with the sales team.
• Special Projects as required by the business and working within other areas when required
• Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policy
• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System.
• Promote company culture – Empathy, Integrity & Excellence.
• Promote excellent relationships between all colleagues.
• Attend internal company meetings and follow up as necessary.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home as required
Education & Experience:
• Good general education (essential)
• Previous restoration industry experience (essential)
• IIRC/BDMA accredited (desirable)
• IPAF certificate
• PASMA certificate
• CSCS (desirable)
