Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:
Leading, developing, and motivating the engineering team to adopt best practices, while deputising for the Site Engineering Manager.
Overseeing budget proposals and collaborating with the business on budget vs actual spend.
Supporting modifications and continuous improvement initiatives to maintenance procedures, ensuring legal compliance on site.
Collaborating with production to prioritise interventions, drive maintenance best practices, and overseeing preventative maintenance initiatives.
Handling maintenance, repair, and breakdown on various machinery, including involvement in modifications, project work, and installations.
Skills Required for the Maintenance Manager:
Background in manufacturing, ideally within fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing.
Multi-skilled engineering background, including electrical skills.
Proven experience in managing and motivating engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of planned maintenance and proficiency in using PPM systems.
Ideally, involvement in CAPEX and improvement projects.

At our site, you'll be working with a variety of machinery including mixers, conveyors, depositors, hoists, flow wrappers, and packaging lines. This role is predominantly electrical, involving work on PLCs, drives, inverters, and sensors.
