Rate: £18-£24ph
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Service Planner to work for a global leader in Wind Energy.
The Role:
This is an operational role where you will be providing planning support within the team. Building plans and managing the planning side of things.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
*
Utilise P6 or similar planning software to develop and maintain project schedules
*
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data input and updates
*
Monitor progress against planned activities and milestones
*
Conduct analysis of historical data and contractual obligations to inform strategic planning/
*
Collaborate with stakeholders to align planning efforts with organisational objectives
*
Develop and access various scenarios to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities
*
Provide recommendations for mitigation strategies and contingency plans
*
Manage load and capacity and update and ensure accuracy and consistency of data input and updates.
*
Organise and facilitate planning meetings with internal teams and external partners
*
Establish and enforce planning policies, procedures and standards
*
Monitor adherence to governance frameworks and recommend improvements as needed.
*
Manage workflow of service orders from initiation to completion
*
Coordinate dispatch of personnel and resource to fulfil service requests
*
Utilise COGI and IW46 Transactions to manage goods movements and work orders in SAP.
*
Assist in preparation of monthly reports on project progress, resource utilisation and key performance indicators.
*
Maintain database of retrofits
*
Manage the reservation of parts and materials for planned maintenance activities
*
Coordinate and ensure availability of required parts.
Key Skills and experience required:
*
Must have P6 knowledge or P6 skills
*
SAP experience is essential
*
Must have previous Planning experience
Desirable experience:
*
Experience in the Wind Energy sector would be ideal, or otherwise Oil & Gas or other engineering sector experience would be preferable
*
Preferable to be able to use Excel, preferably using formulas
