About Us: City Calling is a reputable construction and logistics company known for delivering high-quality services across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver who can also operate a Telehandler to join our team for a 1-month position.
Job Description: As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver with Telehandler experience, you will be responsible for operating both the counterbalance forklift and telehandler to move materials safely and efficiently on our site. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the counterbalance forklift to lift and move materials.
* Operate the telehandler as required.
* Conduct daily checks and maintenance of both the forklift and telehandler equipment.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
* Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members.
* Report any defects or issues with equipment promptly.
Requirements:
* Blue A16 Telehandler ticket
* Proven experience operating a telehandler.
* Safety Critical Medical certificate
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of £21.50/hr (UTR).
