Senior Health & Safety Manager (for a National M&E Contractor based in Nottingham)
My client are seeking to employ a Health & Safety Manager on a permanent basis. They are a well-known East midlands M&E contractor and can offer opportunity for progression. This is a senior level appointment for the business.
Ideally, you will be NEBOSH certified and have 5 + years experience in a similar position.
Health & Safety Manager - Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with current regulations and legislation
Provide guidance and support to directors, management, and employees on all health and safety matters
Investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents, and implement measures to prevent re-occurrence
Carry out site audits to monitor and improve our site operations
Maintain records and reports related to health and safety performance and compliance
Stay up to date on relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices
Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Salary / Package
up to £55,000 (flexible for the right candidate) + Car or Allowance, 2x Bonus per annum, Healthcare + progression plans.
Working Hours
41.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
Fridays 8am to 4pm.
Essential
Experienced in a similar role
Excellent time management skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
Personable and positive manner
Diligent and able to work on own initiativeDesirable
Auditing Qualification
