Are you an innovative Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the medical devices sector?
We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Design Engineer to join an exceptional Product Management Team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic chance to work on assistive medical devices, contributing to product development and leading engineering changes that directly impact patient care and product efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain up-to-date product specifications and designs, ensuring compliance with international medical standards.
* Collaborate with global suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve product issues, ensuring seamless manufacturing.
* Get involved in hands-on product development, including testing, prototyping, and fabrication.
* Lead value engineering projects to improve product safety, usability, and manufacturing efficiency.
* Support the Sales and Purchasing teams with technical queries and customized component specifications.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
* Hands-on experience with metal and woodwork tools is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
