The Role
To act as a Data Management Controller, primarily in the DMC team but with the scope to develop skills in the wider Airworthiness Records team whilst T2 Typhoon recovery activity is undertaken within the Typhoon Maintenance Facility, RAF Coningsby.
Primarily the role holder will ensure the A/C data and configuration is correct in accordance with maintenance tasking letters, SoW, and additional tasking of Technical Instructions and other applicable instructions and sources of approved data and that they are allocated to aircraft and subsequently claimed correctly.
Additionally the role holder will populate ESS with data recorded in Maintenix ensuring the config data is correctly managed during the aircrafts maintenance visit.
The role will report into the Airworthiness Records Team Lead AB07.
Role Requirements:
The role is within the Planning, Tasking & Verification organisation within the Typhoon Maintenance Facility (TMF) as part of the TyTAN Enterprise Service at RAF Coningsby Lincolnshire. The role supports the delivery to the Fwd. Fleet of aircraft maintained within a MAOS compliant organisation. The role ensures configuration data has been correctly managed during an aircraft's maintenance visit and all supporting data reflects this correctly in both the electronic systems employed of ESS and Maintenix. Responsibilities will include:
 Management of A/C Configuration during maintenance (wrong part / missing part exceptions, Service modification embodiments, reference / business data corrections, SI(T) management).
 Completion of ESS Configuration Audit and Electronic F700 Quality Audits.
 Carry out A/C maintenance builds in ESS using SOW document and gathering of delta lifing cuts to maintain output requirements of maintenance  Completion of Data Change Requests and Docs specific Special Instructions (Technical).
 Population of ESS with data recorded in Maintenix for co-ordination, part fitments, SI(T) returns etc.
 Ensuring ESS MWOs reflect the aircraft Statement of Work (SoW).
 The control, supervision and quality of all TMF engineering documentation including F700C, Engineering Record Card and electronic certification of aircraft maintenance on Maintenix and ESS.
 Maintain a close working relationship with the Pt. 145, MAOS Mil Part M, TSC and Eng Records and compiling necessary maintenance data returns from TMF.  Support the Airworthiness Team Lead in managing output as defined by the TMF Depth Maintenance Plan.
 Provide Information, Statistics and Data as required for TMF Maintenance Support analysis.

Security Requirements: SC
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction.
