Help assist design complex bespoke scaffold structures using Layher system scaffolding and other systems - with a view to working independently
*
Working with the team to produce imaginative and innovative designs
*
Continually monitor and improve our existing library of generic designs
*
Ability to work autonomously and often to tight deadlines
*
Confident to represent the company at meetings and discussions with client's once background knowledge has been gained
*
Good communication skills for assisting the existing Acorn team with turnkey design solutions together with engaging with the on-site teams during the build phase
*
Site surveys
*
Liaise with external designers regarding requirements etc
*
Provision of technical support to clients
*
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager
*
Preparation of outline construction methodologies.
Requirements
*
Knowledge of Autocad essential
*
Engineering background would be an advantage
*
HNC/HND in Engineering would be beneficial
*
Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles
*
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
