Rotating weekly shifts - 06.00-14.30 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-12.00 on Friday and 14.30-23.00 Monday to Thursday and 12.00-18.00 on Friday
£32,250.09 per annum plus shift allowance paid on a weekly basis when applicable
Our client is a world leading, manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They specialise in heavy duty vehicles and are looking for a Paint Sprayer to join their team on a permanent basis
As a Paint Sprayer you will be responsible for working in the Paint shop, masking, paint preparation and spray painting and ensuring the application of primer and topcoat are flawless. Also moving parts into the shot blast and paint line using a Gas Counterbalance Forklift truck, training will be provided.
This is a varied and challenging position for the successful candidate, which will draw from a broad range of skills including problem solving, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.
The successful Paint Sprayer would ideally have experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or Automotive environment and able to work under pressure and to achieve tight deadlines.
Paint Sprayer– Role & Responsibilities:
Preparation of panels for painting including prime, prep and masking
Paint spraying using 2K and polyurethane paint to the required quality standard.
Adjust and maintain spray equipment.
Prepare jigs and fixtures.
Clean out spray booths.
Flattening, polishing, and mopping.
Ensure all parts and panels are audited with relevant sign off.
Using a Forklift Truck moving panels and components into the shot blast and paint line
Paint Sprayer - Key Skills Required:
Ideally have an external Gas Counterbalance licence (not essential)
Paint Spraying experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to create a flawless finish.
Willingness to work alone or as part of a team.
Time management and organisation skills
Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures
Flexibility to work overtime as and when required
