Job Title: Assistant Production Planner
Location: Southport
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Russell Taylor Group are recruiting a Planning Assistant to join our client based in Southport.
The role:
• Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels
• Regularly communicate with all teams to create the most effective plan
• Participate in daily meetings with departments to ensure no plans are at risk
• Assisting with warehouse audits and input data onto company ERP system
• Recommend and implement efficiencies in processes, systems and structure.
• Providing first-rate support to senior members of the team
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
The person:
• Have an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Team player
• Computer literate
