Are you an experienced Buyer in the Engineering or Manufacturing industry looking for an opportunity to join their successful, long-standing company in Heanor?

This position is a hybrid role, working from their offices Tuesday to Thursday - Monday and Friday working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle purchasing and contracting for goods and services in the UK and abroad
* Prepare inquiries and purchase orders, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts
* Manage and negotiate with suppliers to meet cost, delivery and performance
* Provide advice and estimates for costs of manufacture and shipping
* Coordinate document approvals and monitor returns
* Monitor supplier inventory to ensure timely and accurate year-end stock
* Purchase equipment and services to support project managers and internal customers
Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as A Buyer or in Purchasing & Supply Chain environment
* GCSE Grade 5 or above in Maths and English or equivalent
* MCIPS qualified, or working towards a recognised procurement qualification equivalent standard is desirable
