  • Someone who will support the Directors and provide back up administrative/customer/sales support to the highest level to lead multiple and varied FF&E projects and quotes, working on your own within a small team.
  • A confident, loyal, trustworthy, dynamic, charming person who can hold their own with clients, suppliers, contractors, and fabricators.
  • Someone unafraid to take responsibility, ensuring Stylematters deliver a seamless service to our clients.
  • Good project leadership skills, and someone who can mange a small office workload
  • Someone with a proactive nature, great instincts and open to feedback.


The ideal candidate must have :

  • A degree or equivalent in Interior Design would be preferred.
  • Full proficiency using Excel, powerpoint Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Suite.
  • A strong background in Interior, a high standard of technical ability and broad knowledge of materiality.
  • A passion for FF&E with vast knowledge of suppliers, product and specialist finishes. Experience in procurement would be a plus but is not essential.
  • Experience working on all aspects of projects, through all stages of work, from concept to completion.
  • An understanding of project programs and deadlines.
  • Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
  • An exceptional eye for scale and balance, detail and colour.
  • Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
  • excellent customer /administrative background


The role broken down:


  • Report to the Directors workload and development of sales growth of projects

  • Drive and inspire the small team , bring new ideas, helping to source new furniture, and bring original and fresh thoughts to Stylematters .

  • Responsible for Administrative quotes using excel / procurement of goods / closing the sale.
  • Present and sell concepts and design solutions to our Clients.


  • Provide strong project leadership and seamless service to our clients, with exceptional communication throughout.


  • Attend meeting when needed to on site clients and assist the designers/clients on the conceptual and technical side of the design process.


  • Coordinate and oversee the quotes /order , ensuring comments and revisions are always up to date.


  • Support the Director when they are not present with directing the quotes/sales etc

  • Provide regular and timely updates and progress reports to the Directors and/or Associates.


  • Manage and check information produced by consultants, and suppliers on all orders.

  • Respond effectively to complex questions and troubleshoot problems

  • Apply strategic thinking to projects. Forecast, identify, and communicate risks and brings ideas and solutions to the table.

Stylematters is a Cheshire based interior design studio, family business.

working across commercial projects through interior designers, hotels restaurants, student accommodation etc We pride ourselves on our small upholstery company.
