As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will manage site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including health and safety, quality control, and progress monitoring.
Lead, motivate, and manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure high standards of work and productivity.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to design specifications and regulations.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Manage site resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labour.
Handle any issues or challenges that arise on-site, resolving them promptly to avoid project delays.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all site personnel.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the house-building sector.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using project management software and tools.
Relevant qualifications such as an HNC/HND in Construction Management or equivalent.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS card are essential.
First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
