We are working with a well respected mechanical contractor with a turnover of £50m and a strong presence delivering across the commercial fit out and healthcare sectors for leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical supervisor to initially work on a £7m mechanical cat A and B fit out scheme near Liverpool Street.
Reporting to a mechanical project manager you will join a talented team and take charge of managing the fast paced mechancal install tasked with managing and motivating the specialist subcontractors to successfully deliver the scheme to PC.
Role/Responsibilities:
* Management of subcontractor labour
* Attend site meetings
* Progress reports
* Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc.
* Health and safety
* Review and amend RAMS
* Red pen design reviews
* Snagging
* Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project
The ideal candidate:
* Have good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
* Experience working in the building services, facilities management or construction sector
* Experience working on projects of circa £1M within your own discipline
